Introducing The 11 11 Body Oil

Introducing The 11 11 Body Oil

I have always loved body oil. Using it feels like a ritual. I especially love how it feels after a bath or shower, the way it moisturizes all over, deeply nourishing your skin.

So when the time came to develop and launch a new product in the 11 11 line, I had body oil on my mind. And when we reached out and asked you, our customers, about what other ways you would like to experience the 11 11 scent, body oil seemed to be top of mind for you, too. It feels like a natural extension of the line.

The key ingredients in the body oil are:

*APRICOT KERNEL OIL — known for its gentle, restorative, and moisturizing properties, it’s especially good for sensitive and mature skin alike.

*SWEET ALMOND OIL — widely considered a powerhouse for any type of skin, it contains many vitamins, fatty acids, and nutrients that easily penetrate your skin and are said to soothe chapped or irritated spots, and to generally keep things smooth and soft.

*VITAMIN E — is said to have many healing, restorative benefits. It’s also an antioxidant, which means it can help keep skin plump, protected, and possibly even wrinkle-free.

We’re also excited about what the oil does not contain: phthalates, parabens, and sulfates. As always, it’s vegan and cruelty-free.

A note on the design: the bottle has a long pipette, making it both easy to apply and to use the whole bottle.

Let us know what you think! Hopefully the body oil will get your sun-kissed skin through the end of summer and into the back-to-school transition. A welcome addition to any skin care routine. It’s as healthy for your skin as it is a calming self-care ritual. We’re committing to taking a pause as we rub it midday into our hands, nails, and cuticles. In numerology, 11 11 is always a good excuse to take a breath, a great reminder to focus on the positive and a sign of good luck. Now you have more reason than ever.

Upstate Summer Diary

Upstate in summer is a particular joy. Shoes are off. The sun sets late. An ease takes over and stays. There’s swimming and grilling and friends. It’s a warm blur of lazy mornings, shady afternoons, fireflies, hikes and bikes and discovering new places, plus visiting old favorite spots. If you haven’t been upstate in a while, or if you’re here all the time, here are a few spots we love.

by Courtney Somer

Numerology, like Astrology, can be somewhat addictive. I had always been interested in my ‘numbers,’ but never truly understood their meaning or knew how to figure them out. Then, during my Kundalini yoga training, we took a deep dive into the multifaceted world of numerology including studying karma (which informs your personality) and even what colors are best to wear.  Interested? The following is a basic guide on how to do your numbers and what they mean. If you’d like to go more in depth, check out the links below.

Saturn Return – The Instigator of Change

Both my friends and I had a distinct feeling of unease about our lives right around the age of 28. It felt like a midlife crisis, without the sports cars or younger mates. Nothing felt quite right and a variety of deeper questions set in. Was I in the right job and relationship? What was my plan for my life? Thankfully, around that time, I was introduced to the concept of the Saturn return. Read More

Living in Wonder

by Abdi Assadi

There is a lot of talk about wonder, joy, beauty and magic. These words and more importantly their experience are connected and intersect one another. The one thing they all have in common is that they can only be experienced when we are in the moment. Which any of us rarely are. Being present to the moment is in fact one of the most difficult things we can do.
